Yotam Doron is a final year EngD student at UCL’s Department of Computer Science and in the VEIV Doctoral Training Centre, supervised by Professor Jan Kautz. He previously completed an MSc in Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging, also at UCL. His research is on interactive computer vision for image editing tasks. Specific research topics include image matting, which aims to accurately separate a selected foreground object from the background in a photograph, and semi-automatic reconstruction of depth from image sequences, where automatic correspondence and user annotations are combined to model the geometry of a scene.
