PhDs and PostDocs attend BITE residential course

An innovative entrepreneurial training course for PhDs and Postdocs working in ICT across UCL Engineering ran for the first time in May 2014. The course, funded by BITE, was taught by enterprise experts Dr Clive Poole (UCL Electronic and Electrical Engineering) and Dr Daniel Hulme (UCL Computer Science). The intensive 3 day training programme was highly interactive with business planning in teams and ‘Dragon’s Den’ style pitches. The course was attended by over 20 early stage career researchers and received excellent feedback.
